A downloadable game for Windows

A playful game of hide and seek where the seeker must locate the player-controlled cats to win. Meanwhile, these cats must take all objectives and escape to secure their victory!

READ BEFORE PLAYING

This game requires a minimum of two players to play.

The host decides which abilities to use and their cooldowns in the game. To modify an ability's cooldown, simply click on the ability name and adjust the slider. You can select up to 4 abilities.

There are 2 roles:

Seekers:

  • Must identify which cats are players and eliminate them before they complete all objectives (torch) and escape through the gates
  • Seekers can mark the cats with a marker or shoot them directly

Cats:

  • Must complete the objectives and escape from the map
  • Cats can hide in various props on the map (trees, bushes, etc.). When a cat is hidden, the seeker cannot see it
  • Cats have the ability to see where the Seekers are looking
  • Once a cat exits through the gates, it cannot be killed and must wait until the other cats either die or also exit

CONTROLS

Seekers:

  • CTRL -> Swap between marker and rifle
  • L-CLICK -> Shoot with marker or rifle
  • Numbers 1-2-3-4-5 -> Teleport the camera on the tagged cat
  • Keys Q-W-E-R -> Use the ability selected during the lobby
  • Move the camera like in a RTS game (move the cursor to the edges of the screen)

Cats:

  • W-A-S-D to move
  • Hold F near objectives (torch) to complete them

DEV NOTE

Since this is a concept/test game, be prepared for many bugs and problems :D. I aim to explore whether it can evolve into a real game worth investing development time and money in. Any suggestion or help is appreciated :)

Install instructions

Steam version: launch the game with Steam running and invite your friends via the Steam invite through the friends list. This game utilizes Steamworks and the Steam AppID: 480 (Spacewars), which is used for testing games. This decision was made because I am uncertain about continuing the game's development and didn't want to spend 100 euros unnecessarily.
